President & CEO of CHRONOGRAFIKI SA

Peter Charagionis was born in 1946 in Piraeus.

He finished his secondary education at Ralleios and Ionidios model schools and was awarded a degree in Economics at the Higher School of Economics and Commercial Sciences (ASOEE).

He attended several postgraduate seminars in Business Management and Marketing.

He served his military service as a reserve second lieutenant at the Army's Economics corps.

He took over the management of the Group's construction machinery import company, N. Charagionis SA and was instrumental in taking on the representation of major international firms such as Potain, Linde, Jungheinrich, Maco, etc.

When N. Charagionis SA changed its objective, recognizing the need of the Group to be involved in new technologies, he founded CHRONOGRAFIKI LTD., whose objective was the operational time monitoring and reproduction systems, such as electronic clocks, clock systems of large buildings, timestamps in banking, access control systems, etc.

In 1980, making a wide turn and without abandoning its original activity, Chronografiki created a new field of action taking on the representation of Japanese firm DIGI, world champion in electronic weighing systems for both commercial and industrial applications.

Chronografiki, which in 1987 was converted into an Anonymous Society, today is leader in the electronic weighing in Greece.

Peter Charagionis has two sons, who are active members of the Group.
